Major Intersections |
Home (7) |
Describes the current location, relative to the ten nearest major intersections. |

Move Forward |
Up Arrow (8) |
Moves the Atlas cursor forward in the current direction. Also moves the cursor up in Menus. |

Route Status |
Page Up (9) |
When using a Route file, this indicates the nearest waypoint ahead, and calculates the distance travelled and the distance needed to complete the Route. |

Escape |
Plus (+) |
Exits the current activity, gets out of Help or backs out of the current menu list. |
|
Rotate Left |
Left Arrow (4) |
Rotates the Atlas cursor to the next street to the left of the current position. In a menu, it can be used like the Escape key. |

Select |

Selects the current choice in a Menu or dialog box. |

Rotate Right |
Right Arrow (6) |
Rotates the Atlas cursor to the next street to the right of the current position. In a menu, it can be used like the Enter key. |

Key Describer |
End (1) |
Describes the function of the other keys. Press this key and the other keys become inactive; then press any key and it describes its function. Press the Describer key again to return the keypad to normal operation. |

Undo Last |

allows the user to undo the last movement forward, up to ten steps back. Also moves the menu cursor down in a Menu. |

Describes the current location in terms of the intersection nearest to the Atlas cursor using the street (or streets) in front and behind, and the streets to the left and right. It uses the clock format to indicate directions relative to the cursor. Also gives the actual address of the current location. |

When Atlas is giving status or location information, this key allows the user to skip the current text information and move on to the next entry in the list. |
