Announce Serendipity Points of Interest announces all Points of Interest inside the Serendipity range. Serendipity does not need to be turned on for this key announcement to work.
ECA Name announces the drive, path and name of the map on which the current explore position is located. A typical announcement would be c:\ Atlas \maps\s\sof_ca.
City announces the city in which the Atlas cursor position is located.
Destination description announces the "name" or address of the destination currently activated. Atlas will say "unavailable" if no destination is active.
Destination heading and distance announces the heading and distance from the current position to the selected destination. The heading is given in the selected heading units and the distance is calculated according to the Metric or Imperial Units setting. Atlas will say "unavailable" if no destination is active.
DOS Date and Time gives the exact date and time being used by DOS.
Heading announces the current heading in degrees. The units cannot be changed and only a number is announced.
Intersecting Street Information announces the current position, usually an intersection. If the cursor is not at an intersection, Atlas will announce the nearest address.
Intersection Ahead calculates the nearest intersection in front of the current position. Atlas will announce this intersection and give its heading and distance.
Intersection Behind calculates the nearest intersection behind the current position. Atlas will announce this intersection and give its heading and distance.
Intersection to Left calculates the nearest intersection to the left. Atlas will announce this intersection and give its heading and distance.
Intersection to Right calculates the nearest intersection to the right. Atlas will announce this intersection and give its heading and distance.
Latitude announces the latitude of the current explore position.
Longitude announces the longitude of the current explore position.
Major Intersections lists the 10 major intersections closest to the current explore position. Atlas lists each intersection with its name, heading and distance.
Nearest Address announces the number and street name of the address nearest the current position.
Nearest Intersection Description gives a description of the nearest intersection to the current explore position.
Nearest Point of Interest Description announces the name of the closest Point of Interest to the current explore position. Atlas will say nothing if there is no Points of Interest file open.
Nearest Point of Interest Heading and Distance announces the heading and distance from the current explore position to the nearest Point of Interest. Atlas will say nothing if there is no Points of Interest file open.
Pedometer Last Leg Travelled announces the pedometer reading of the last segment of the route. Usually this is the distance from the previous intersection.
Pedometer Total Distance Travelled announces the pedometer reading since the last time the pedometer was reset to zero. This is usually the distance since the last set Explore Position or opened a route.
Route Beginning Description gives a description of the first waypoint in the open route. This waypoint is usually an address or intersection. If no route is active, Atlas says nothing.
Route Beginning Heading and Distance announces the heading and distance from the current position to the beginning of the open route. If no route is active, Atlas says nothing.
Route Endpoint Description gives a description of the last waypoint in the current route. This waypoint is usually an address or intersection. If no route is active, Atlas says nothing.
Route Endpoint Heading and Distance announces how far it is to the end of the route that is currently in use and in what direction this point is. If no route is active, Atlas says nothing.
Route In Use announces the name of the route currently in use.
Route Status announces the following information about the active route: the nearest waypoint by cross streets, the direction of travel (forward or reverse), the distance travelled from the start of the route, and the distance remaining to the end of the route.
State announces the state (or province in Canada) in which the current position is located.
Street Classification announces what type of street currently being travelled. The following is a list of all the classifications Atlas uses:
Street Name and Direction announces the current street and compass direction. This unit of direction cannot be changed.

Waypoint Description Nearest gives a description of the nearest or current waypoint. This waypoint is usually located at the current position.

Waypoint Number Previous announces the chronological number assigned to the previous waypoint.
Zip code announces the zip code in which the current position is located.
